A Note From the General Manager

Just a quick message not as the general manager, as a mother, grandmother and former camp director. Parents, I ask you to remember we are a remote location, we are wildlife conservation land - gators, snakes, wild hogs, deer, turkey all roam free. We do our best to keep the youngest separate from the oldest and the tweens in a group all their own. Our campers come from all over the world, from all different cultures, religions, with different homelife, rules and values. Summer camp is a time of discovery and exploration of new ideas, activities and people.

Our counselors are young adults from another country - they are here to learn just as much as they are to teach. Our goal every day is to keep campers safe, fed, clean, busy, happy, and drama free! It’s a tall order, but we do it every year with only the tiniest of mishaps. If you have questions just ask!
