What to bring and what not to bring

Bring with you – pack in a soft suitcase or duffel bag:

  • ● Sleeping bag

  • ● Spiral notebook (Daily Journal)

  • ● 2-4 pairs long pants/jeans for horseback riding

  • ● 2-3 long-sleeved shirts

  • ● 6 pairs shorts & T-shirts

  • ● 6 - 8 pairs of underwear

  • ● Socks (8-10 pairs in all)

  • ● 2 pairs old shoes or boots

  • ● Flip-flops for shower

  • ● Rainwear

  • ● Swimsuit (for shower/water games)

  • ● Your favorite pillow (labeled) in identifiable pillowcase

  • ● Group appropriate indoor sleepwear (nothing revealing)

  • ● Weather-appropriate camping sleepwear

  • ● Toiletries in kit/fanny pack

  • ● 2 Towels and washcloths

  • ● Plastic garbage bags for wet/dirty clothes

  • ● Medications (Must be labeled/disbursed by Camp Staff)

  • ● Sunscreen

  • ● Chapstick with sunscreen

  • ● Insect repellant

  • ● Hat (chinstrap recommended)

  • ● Flashlight

Do NOT Bring with you:

  • ● Cell Phones

    (Campers coming from other countries must bring their cell phones to call home)
  • ● Ipods/Ipads

  • ● Music Devices

  • ● Hand held Games

  • ● Laptop

  • ● No Electronic Devices

  • ● Knives/guns weapons of any kind

Digital Detox!

We want our campers to experience a week of nature based fun and exercise, to meet new friends and experience new adventures.

In addition personal belongings are often not well organized in the dorms not to mention it is wet and muddy here! Please respect our decision not to allow cell phones or any electronic devices of any kind! If campers are found with these items they will be confiscated and returned at the end of the session.
